Este ano, é o Lote #5 que foi selecionado e estamos muito satisfeitos por receber a nova colheita! A estação de lavagem Mahembe é propriedade e gerida por Justin Musabyiama e está localizada em Nyamasheke. Este lote foi colhido em maio deste ano e é um processo totalmente lavado, composto pela variedade red bourbon, e é uma combinação de cerejas colhidas por Justin na sua própria quinta de 8 hectares e por pequenos produtores locais que o rodeiam, a cerca de 1900 metros acima do nível do mar. O trabalho coletivo da equipa e dos produtores, combinado com uma colheita, seleção e processamento cuidadosos, é o que torna este café tão excelente. Na chávena, é um muffin de mirtilo com cobertura de caramelo.
