Did you know when King Tutankhamen’s tomb was opened in 1922 there was still edible honey found sealed alongside him? Seriously! That’s crazy. So when I beg you to please please PLEASE rest this honey, you don’t need to wait 3000 years, but do yourself a favor and wait at least like a month to let it open up, okay? If you think the above text was a bit of a stretch, just know I have a tab open on my laptop entitled “famous bees,” so you guys got a really reasonable take here. Less meta and more direct- this honey processed gesha from Gesha Village is a delightfully complex floral bomb that you’ll love. We’ll have a couple more offerings from Gesha village coming soon, make sure you collect the whole swarm. Hive? Colony. Bunch of bees. Gotta catch ‘em all. What’s the Pokemon bee? Beedrill. Okay later haters.

The floral notes on this honey-processed Gesha are incredible, really opens up as it cools in the cup. I’ve been letting it rest a full week and each brew gets more complex. A definite treat if you can find it.

I've been brewing this since it arrived and the honey process gives it a silky body that lingers way longer than other Ethiopians I've tried. The complexity is wild—one sip tastes like stone fruit, the next like jasmine, and it keeps shifting as it cools.

The honey-processing really shines through in the cup—it’s fruit-forward without being overpowering. I just wish the roast were slightly lighter to capture more of those floral notes, but it’s still a delightful brew.
